This cozy candy corn bark with pretzels is a quick and easy 3-ingredient treat that perfectly balances sweet and salty. With creamy white chocolate, crunchy pretzels, and chewy candy corn, it’s the ideal fall snack for parties or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces (340 grams) white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup (200 grams) candy corn
  • 1 cup (100 grams) pretzels, crushed
  • Optional: flaky sea salt for finishing
  • Optional: 1/4 cup (40 grams) dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, letting the paper hang over the edges for easy removal.
  2. Place pretzels in a sturdy zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin or measuring cup into a mix of fine crumbs and pea-sized pieces. Set aside.
  3. Melt white chocolate in a heat-safe bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water (double boiler method) or in the microwave in 30-second bursts at 50% power, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  4. Once chocolate is melted, add crushed pretzels and candy corn. Fold gently until all pieces are coated.
  5. Pour mixture onto prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and optional dried cranberries if desired.
  6. Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes until completely firm. For faster setting, freeze for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Once set, lift bark from baking sheet using parchment handles, place on a cutting board, and break into irregular pieces with your hands.
  8. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Notes

Use good-quality white chocolate for best results. If using white chocolate chips, add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil to help them melt smoothly. For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free white chocolate. For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free pretzels. The bark can be frozen for up to 3 months.
