Creamy Overnight Peanut Butter Protein Oats - featured image

A quick, no-cook breakfast recipe that combines rolled oats, peanut butter, and protein powder for a creamy, nutrient-dense meal ready in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats (Old Fashioned)
  • 1 cup Milk of Choice (dairy, almond, oat, or soy)
  • 2 tablespoons Peanut Butter (natural recommended)
  • 1 scoop Protein Powder (approx. 30g, vanilla or chocolate)
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • 12 teaspoons Sweetener (maple syrup or honey)
  • A pinch of Salt
  • Optional Toppings: Sliced bananas, crushed peanuts, extra peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare two clean, dry mason jars or meal prep containers.
  2. Add 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, 1 scoop protein powder, sweetener, and a pinch of salt to each jar.
  3. Pour 1/2 cup milk into each jar, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
  4. Stir vigorously with a spoon or whisk until the protein powder is dissolved and the mixture is uniform.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter to each jar on top of the mixture (do not stir in completely to create flavor pockets).
  6. Cover the jars with lids and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  7. In the morning, give the oats a good stir. Add a splash of milk if the mixture is too thick.
  8. Top with sliced bananas, crushed peanuts, or extra peanut butter. Serve cold or microwave for 60 seconds if preferred warm.

Notes

Do not use quick oats as they will turn mushy. Steel-cut oats will not soften enough. Ensure peanut butter is at room temperature for easier mixing. The oats will expand, so leave space in the jar. These keep well in the fridge for up to 5 days.
