These quick and delicious peanut butter banana wraps are perfect for lunchboxes. Ready in 5 minutes with pantry-friendly ingredients, they’re backpack-proof and kid-approved.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8-inch) flour tortilla
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Optional: mini chocolate chips, crushed granola, or chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Warm the tortilla in the microwave for 10-15 seconds until pliable.
  2. Spread a thin, even layer of softened cream cheese over the tortilla, leaving a half-inch border.
  3. Spread the peanut butter over the cream cheese, keeping the border.
  4. Drizzle honey over the peanut butter layer and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Peel the banana and slice lengthwise into quarters. Arrange the pieces in a single layer down the center of the tortilla, leaving an inch at the top and bottom.
  6. Add any optional extras (chocolate chips, granola, chia seeds) if desired.
  7. Fold the bottom edge of the tortilla up over the filling, then fold in the sides. Roll tightly away from you into a snug cylinder.
  8. Using a serrated knife, slice the wrap crosswise into 4-6 pieces (or pinwheels about 1 inch thick).
  9. If packing for later, wrap each roll tightly in parchment or wax paper. Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Notes

Warm the tortilla to prevent cracking. Use room temperature cream cheese and peanut butter for easier spreading. Don’t overfill to avoid blowouts. Let the wrap rest for 5 minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts. These wraps taste even better after sitting for an hour or two.
