This Halloween white chocolate popcorn mix is a quick and easy crowd-pleaser, combining crunchy popcorn, salty pretzels, sweet white chocolate, and festive candy corn. Perfect for parties, it comes together in about 20 minutes and disappears fast.

Ingredients

  • Popcorn (10 cups, popped)
  • White chocolate melting wafers (12 ounces)
  • Pretzel sticks (2 cups)
  • Candy corn (1 cup)
  • Halloween sprinkles (3 tablespoons)
  • Flaky sea salt (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Vegetable oil (1 teaspoon, optional if using white chocolate chips)

Instructions

  1. Pop 10 cups of popcorn using your preferred method. Spread on a large baking sheet and remove any unpopped kernels. Let cool completely, about 5 minutes.
  2. Line your largest baking sheet with parchment paper. Have all other ingredients measured and ready.
  3. Place white chocolate melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until completely smooth (about 90 seconds total). If using white chocolate chips, add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil before melting.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled popcorn, broken pretzel sticks, and candy corn. Toss gently with your hands.
  5. Dip a fork into the melted white chocolate and drizzle it back and forth over the popcorn mixture, turning the bowl as you go. Use about two-thirds of the chocolate.
  6. Using a spatula or clean hands, gently fold the mixture to distribute the chocolate. Don’t worry if some pieces stick together.
  7. Transfer the mixture to the parchment-lined baking sheet, spreading in an even layer. Drizzle the remaining melted white chocolate over the top. While still wet, sprinkle Halloween sprinkles and flaky sea salt evenly over the surface.
  8. Let the popcorn mix sit at room temperature until the white chocolate is completely firm, about 15-20 minutes. For faster setting, refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  9. Once set, break the mixture into bite-sized clusters.

Notes

Use plain, air-popped popcorn for best results. Avoid butter-flavored popcorn. If using white chocolate chips, add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or vegetable oil for smoother melting. Do not skip the flaky sea salt—it balances the sweetness. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 7 days. Do not refrigerate. For best texture, serve the day it’s made.
