Crisp apple slices topped with a warm peanut butter drizzle, chocolate chips, and crunchy granola. A quick, healthy dessert that comes together in 10 minutes and is perfect for parties or a simple snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith recommended)
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup granola
  • Optional: flaky sea salt, toasted coconut flakes, melted dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples. Core them and slice into thin rounds, about 1/4-inch thick.
  2. Arrange the apple slices in a single layer on a serving platter, overlapping slightly if needed.
  3. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter, coconut oil, and maple syrup. Microwave for 20 seconds, then stir. If not smooth, microwave for another 10 seconds and stir again until pourable.
  4. Drizzle the warm peanut butter mixture evenly over the apple slices.
  5. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips and granola over the apples. Add any optional toppings if desired.
  6. Serve immediately while the apples are crisp and the drizzle is warm.

Notes

For best results, use room-temperature peanut butter and coconut oil. Slice apples 1/4-inch thick for optimal texture. Assemble just before serving to keep apples crisp. To prevent browning, toss sliced apples in water with lemon juice and pat dry.
