A creamy, spicy, and indulgent buffalo chicken dip made lighter with Greek yogurt and cream cheese, featuring a fun spiderweb design perfect for game days or Halloween parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • Optional: extra Greek yogurt or light sour cream for spiderweb design

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Soften cream cheese by leaving it out for 15-20 minutes or microwaving for 10-15 seconds.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, Greek yogurt, softened cream cheese, hot sauce, ranch seasoning, and squeezed-dry spinach. Stir until well combined.
  4. Fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Reserve the other half for the top.
  5. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and spread into an even layer.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Create spiderweb design: Dollop small spoonfuls of extra Greek yogurt in a circle around the center. Use a toothpick or knife to drag lines from the center outward through the yogurt dollops.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until hot and bubbly. Optionally broil for 1-2 minutes for a browner top.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Make sure spinach is thoroughly dried to avoid watery dip. Use room-temperature cream cheese for smoothest texture. For a crowd, double the recipe and use a 9×13 dish.
