These air fryer pork chops are quick, easy, and incredibly crispy without any breading. Made with simple pantry ingredients, they’re a weeknight dinner hero that even picky kids love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4–6 boneless pork chops, about 1-inch thick (4–6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked or sweet)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, black pepper, and cayenne (if using).
  3. Drizzle olive oil over both sides of the pork chops and spread evenly. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over both sides, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Place the seasoned pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer, without overlapping.
  6. Cook for 8 minutes at 400°F.
  7. Flip the pork chops using tongs and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, let pork chops sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before seasoning. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if needed. Use a meat thermometer to ensure internal temperature reaches 145°F. Let chops rest after cooking to retain juiciness.
